| Keeping their dog happy, safe, and exercised is an important part of being a pet owner. Today's hectic life style does not always allow extra time for trips to the parks or to visit doggie friends. Knowing that a tired dog is a happy dog, and that many behavior problems owners encounter is often brought on by to much energy to little play we have added DOGGIE DAY CARE to our services. Drop him off on the way to work, pick up a happy throughly exhausted pooch on your way home. |
| We hope that everyone employed or working with animals enjoys being around dogs. However loving animals is not enough to assure the safety of your dog. The staff at The Barking Lot have years of behavior training, having been taught hands on from leading behaviorists and educators, not from reading books or watching videos. Our ability comes from interacting for years with numerous dogs, of MANY breeds (as well as mixes) in groups, alone, in training and in home environments. Our staff understands canine body language, calming signals, and if unhealthy interaction ever starts how to end it fast and safely. Managing dogs in groups is no simple undertaking, it should never be taken lightly nor undertaken by inexperienced persons. Because Dogs matter! |
