| Rally: The newest introduction into the world of competitive obedience! This entry level obedience is simply an obedience course with signs, and lots of extra exercises. Set at your own pace it allows you to talk, coach, encourage, and repeat commands during the run. Rally is offered by both APDT as well as AKC, and hopefully, soon by UKC. While AKC does NOT allow food rewards, APDT does after an exercise is performed if desired. Covering several levels, Novice, Advanced, and Excellent, plus the top level of RAE (the equivalent of a Rally Championship) in AKC, APDT has several different levels as well. We think rally is an awesome way to add extra training to your dog, add polish and perfection to your performance and a low stress way to start obedience trials. Our Novice Polish classes cover Rally as an entry level for dogs aiming for higher titles or just perfecting Rally scores. |
