BECAUSE DOGS MATTER

For over 35 years.

Its never just a job, its our passion.

The Barking Lot is a family based business. There is no *big
box* rapid fire turn over or quick trained employees here. We
are here only because we love the work, and are prepared with
information, knowledge and ability. We are casual, just as apt to
hang around in flip flops so we can kick them off to give belly
rubs. Are uniforms are usually decorated with dog hair, but thats
just something you learn live with when it's your job to hug dogs
all day!

The environment  is designed because dogs are dogs. And to do
our job right it needs to be PROVEN safe and fun for dogs. We
don't experiment with your dog's safety or life. Our policy is not
based on bottom line, it based on the health and welfare of your
dog. Because DOGS matter!

The staff at TBL consists of educated experienced and nationally
certified professionals who are fully qualified to offer you and
your dog the knowledge of over 75 combined  years training and
grooming experience.

Having earned over 60 performance titles in Obedience, Rally,
and Agility and well over 100 Championships in three countries
on dogs in all Breed groups, in several registry venues, plus years
of dealing hands on with dog behavior Plus numerous top awards in
national level pet styling competitions, we are in the unique
position to offer you what very few can.

And that is just where our knowledge begins from there it is
enriched by hours of annual national conferences, seminars, and
personal instruction under the greatest leaders in the industry,
And from living, training, and working with dogs every single day.

Raechel Stenzel literally grew up at TBL learning hands on and perfecting
her natural gift and ability with dogs. She has always had an uncanny
ability to pull out the best in a dog and make them relax and perform. She
prefers one on one training and boarding. She has developed an larger in
kennel program as well as a home style overnight stays.

She has over 100 titles and numerous group wins and places.  Because
she is a professional handler competing in performance events is difficult
she does enjoy the training for fun classes such as agility and free style,
and of course the tricks, all dogs need to know tricks!

Dustin Pugh is a new arrival of  almost two years.  Still sort of new to
this *dog thing* going on here but he is learning fast! I mean this guy
allowed us to snap a picture of him holding a pink & purple dog! But all
kidding aside the dogs love him, he grooms dogs (very well) and
cleans kennels. Plus he does handyman stuff.

He has yet to really get hooked by the show world but he does attend
on occation and has taken a few dogs back in and he has promised to
put Donovan's title on him. Someday. :-)
BIOS OF THE REST SOON TO COME.
